Keitune practice with Lamberto Collari |
 |
SlowSteady writes "
You have now seen a couple of laps driven by various folks at that wonderful looking Keitune track. Multi-time World Champ Lamberto Collari did not make it to the race but he obviously did manage to sneak in some practice time. Thanks to IanHobbies, we get to see this rare footage of how the champ works and even rarer, how his fingers work on the controls! Click on the picture on the left or "Read more ..." below to view the video!"

KMRC anodized aluminium pulley for MTX4 |
 |
SlowSteady writes "
KM-RC has just released the 24T mid-side pulley for the MTX4 (and can be used for the MTX-3 also). Anodized aluminium pulleys tend to prevent the accumulation of dust and when manufactured well, ensures a good transmission of power via perfect meshing with the belt.
Also released at the same time 24T Brake Pulley adapter for the MTX4 as well as the MTX-3."

Jets Promix Fuel |
 |
SlowSteady writes "
JET'S is an Italian company situated in the province of Treviso, approximately 25 Km north of Venice. It boasts a large new plant. While their brand name may not be known too well in the rest of Europe, particularly here in Europs, they claim wide usage in Italy.
Since moving to their new plant in January of 2007, they have designed and blended this new Promix racing fuel. Designed for top competition, the fuel is available in 1 gallon metal cans and can be used for cars, planes, helis & boats. The 16% nitro is for cars, 25% nitro is designed mainly for off-road use while higher nitro content are meant for helis, planes and boats. "

Low-cost .12 HPI engine |
 |
SlowSteady writes "
There has been some discussions in the Forums here about how to increase participation in our sport/hobby. Inevitably, the issue of cost came up and of course, it is the soaring prices of engines that is discussed most. Well, it seems that HPI was well prepared for the coming trend perhaps because by way of RC-World, Greek HPI distributor Fanatix Models has let it be known that there is a low cost .12 engine from HPI coming soon. It will cost no more than 60€ (about £47.50). This is a good deal and the specs are not too shabby either :-
* Rear Exhaust/5.5mm
* Slide Carb.
* Normal Shaft
* 3 Port
* Std head
* 1.35hp 38000RPM.
Not sure if it come in both pilot and SG shaft form though! "

There are also close-up shots of the new RRR Evo 2. We owe these new pictures to IanHobbies and many thanks to him too for sending these in!"
