Kissimmee Open Race in Florida

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Well I have never done this on this site, but here it goes. I arrived today to the Open Race and the track was looking really good. Kevin had made some new changes to make the track more appelaing to the eye, as well as making it easier to get onto the back straight.

I ran 2 tanks in sedan to just run in a motor and then played with the 1/8 scale. I got the chassis pretty good and finally got the clutch in the ball park. I am still working on the 2speed, as it is not being consistent. Well tonight I am taking it easy, as it is supposed to main tomorrow. I figure I will have plenty of time to work on the cars in the morning.

Hopefully it does not rain, as the track was great and had very little tire wear. I ran a set of Twisters all day and they are still good for a qualifier. I will try to update tomorrow.

Later,
